WORK

Spiers Finance Group

Spiers Finance Group’s first team volunteering day didn’t come with a strategy document. It came with a flat of seedlings, a vegetable garden that needed weeding, and an afternoon getting to know the horses at Ambury Park Centre – a remarkable organisation using equine therapy to support young people with learning and physical disabilities.

Designing and delivering that day was about more than good intentions. It was about building the kind of genuine community relationship that staff remember, that reflects a business’s values in action, and that forms the foundation of a credible social sustainability story.

Joyce Fisher Trust

The Joyce Fisher Trust needed more than fundraising advice. They needed a structured way to think about their stakeholder relationships – who mattered, why, and how to engage them in a way that was honest about what the Trust could offer and what it needed in return.

I worked with the Trust to develop their first comprehensive fundraising strategy, build a structured funder pipeline, and introduce donor cultivation practices grounded in long-term relationship thinking rather than transactional asks. The work was practical, unglamorous in the way all good strategy work is, and designed to outlast my involvement.
