ABOUT

I didn’t plan to end up in ESG consulting. But looking back, it’s the only logical place thirty years of work across banking, the arts, managed funds, government, and the not-for-profit sector was ever going to land.

What connects all of it is this: I’ve always been more interested in what business does in the world than what it does on a spreadsheet. How it treats its people, its community, the place it operates in. That’s not a soft question. It turns out to be one of the harder ones.

I founded Blue CSR because I kept seeing the same gap – businesses that genuinely wanted to do the right thing, but didn’t know where to start, who to trust, or how to make it credible. Not just internally, but to the banks, investors, and supply chain partners increasingly asking for evidence.

I’m not a deep ESG data specialist and I don’t pretend to be. I’m currently completing my BSI ESG Manager certification and working towards GRI Professional Certification. What I bring is thirty years of knowing how organisations actually work – and how to help them build something real, rather than something that just looks good on paper.

Blue CSR is based in Auckland. I work with mid-sized businesses, typically 50-500 staff, where the leadership team knows sustainability matters but hasn’t had the time or the right person to make it happen.
